BEST Innovation presented in Algiers a portfolio of advanced pharmaceutical technologies, high-value products, specialized equipment and complete production lines with its international partners. The focus was DPI (Dry Powder Inhaler) and the supply of complete solution, starting from Blending process, micro-dosing, device supply, API’s supply till final packaging. The treatments of COPD/Asthma decease become focus, technical expertise and know-how transfer by experts in this field are necessary to guarantee the localization of products of such sensitive and complex products.
A key highlight was the joint speech by both engineers, seamlessly combining device and product expertise. Bringing more than 40 years of experience in DPI device development and manufacturing, Eng. Marco Franza (Plastiape) presented various DPI devices, highlighting their specific challenges and characteristics, as well as the most critical factors during product development. Complementing this, Eng. Fadhel Belaiba (BEST Innovation) provided an overview of the current inhalation market situation in the MENA region, followed by a comprehensive product overview and its various presentation forms. He also covered the product development phases, blending technologies and key criteria for successful development and stable production processes.
